During my twenty-five years as a public school English teacher, getting to know students as individuals was both my favorite part of the job and a vital tool informing my instruction.
While this personalized approach provided me with near constant entertainment, it also consistently led students to higher levels of engagement, better grades and test scores, and improved writing skills.
In addition to tutoring ELA students in grades 6-12, I also help high school seniors create thoughtful and compelling college entrance essays.
